I've just binge watched the first 4 episodes of this German apocalyptic thriller on Sky Atlantic. It follows the final eight days leading up to a comet impact that will wipe out Europe and the attempts of several families to escape the region.

It's subtitled, and does feature a few scenes of a naughty nature (drugs, nookie and one nasty scene involving a chainsaw) but it's one of the best, most unexpected gems I've recently seen.

Strongly recommend.
