What a day for Ireland. I do love golf and am thrilled that Shane Lowry is playing so well in front of his home crowd. The noise from his supporters has been something else today.

I trust he will have a good day tomorrow and am sure he will be prepared for a change in the weather conditions. It is refreshing to see a pro golfer being able to deal with his errors as well as his excellent shots, not that there have been many of the former.

He learned a good lesson at the US Open in 2016 and I am sure he will settle well into the final round.

Well played too, Fleetwood, Rose, Westwood and Willet.

Looking forward to the final day's play :)

This is just what The Open should be about. The weather demands the highest skills to prevail. He who answers the call will be victorious.

Well played that man!
Yes, congratulations to Lowry, a popular local win.
However...for the non golfing enthusiast and neutral (ME) it was a boring final day....infact the whole tournament was pretty boring.

Never mind, Sqad, at least you had some empathy with the weather ;)
