Saturday. It's been raining nonstop for over 24 hours now. It doesn't look like it's going to stop for a while. The up side is the car has had a good wash. Got to be something positive! :o}
I'll give the farmers market a miss methinks. Just go for the paper, drop into Lidl for a couple of odds and ends and back to the nest.

Got back from northern Queensland yesterday, no real winter up there.

Boaty the weeds must love your garden as will the birds and other wildlife.

Yes, I have a wide range of avian visitors, there are several feeding units around. A joy to watch them. They don't bother too much about me being out there.

I have lots of teasels coming up, they will be ready for the birds to raid shortly. they love them!

Yes apart from feeders grow some sunflowers birds love the the seeds.

I used to have "tame" robin that would eat leftover fishing maggots from my hand.

I've put some in, they seem to grow too well here for some reason.

Yes, they do grow very well, but the ground here is somewhat stony, It ain't called The Quarry for nufink. Some of the buildings on Oz are Cam quarry stone!
