Just thought I’d give a little update on Ava and Evelyn. They’re now 7 weeks old today and are thriving. Both of them are succumbing to colic though and are on Baby Gaviscon and Colic milk. They’re gradually getting better and have put on plenty of weight.

I’m still down here, but I’m going home on 1st August. I’ll miss them all terribly. Thank God for FaceTime.

My daughter has recovered well from her C - Section and is able to drive now.

Super news and am sure the colic will soon subside, you will miss holding them. ♥
They'll get through the colic stage, chrissa. I remember it well ( not myself though you understand ).

They’re gradually getting better and have put on plenty of weight.

Things are looking good then.
What a lovely Mum you are! Glad all is going well.
very pleased to hear that everything has ended so well

To see their little faces and tummies look so painful is, heartbreaking. Resting them over our knees helps them. :((
Dunno if you can still get it, but good old gripe water worked for us back in the day, chrissa.
Thanks for the update, Chrissa......nice to hear they and your daughter are doing well.....the colic is a horrid time isn't it....you just feel so bad that you can't make it go away....but as you know it will.....have fun while you're with them.... Gx
Has your Daughter investigated massage?

It's quite effective, both in babies with colic and adults with IBS.
