What Are We All Up To Today?

This time last week it was glorious sunshine - I was sat in garden on sun lounger with a chilled glass of wine, tanning nicely (me, not the wine lol).
Today it’s blowing a gale, the skies are black, it’s cold and just started to rain : ( What a difference 7 days makes! So it’s not going to be gardening this weekend, looks like catching up on housework and finding something vaguely interesting to watch on TV. BORING!

Going out for dinner with my son and his GF.

I've done two loads of washing and have another one on the go. As its cold out and looks like it's going to rain, I've got the tumble dryer on as well.

I could do other housework but can't be bothered. Not in the mood :o(

Went out with Tilly for a plod round the fields, that was very unpleasant, in this wind. Guardian crossword, washing, preparing tonight's dinner.

Nothing exciting. Last week we had visitors for five days so it's nice to just potter about without having to cater for others.

I'm quite happy.

Just back from trip to Waitrose with Dave, two trolleys filled, was hard work, someone else doing the putting away while we have a drink, coffee that is.
Dry at the moment but very windy, going to take dogs down to the Park in a while, then it is going to be a lazy day.

It's still early here but already warm, was bucketing it down in NY recently and I hate it there anyway, so to be here is really welcome :) Allegedly 26 degrees late- lovely! Going to spend the day in the garden with our lovely friend who I've not seen since last year and lots of exciting things have happened since, so a good catch up, bit of a plot, have a bit of lunch and relax after a truly unsettling week x
