I am looking for work as a copy typist typing from writing, documents per se. No audio typing (can't hear it)

I finished off a job for my best friend who is now dead and the book is finished off and all. Like she was typing herself for two professional men and when she took sick I took over.

I enjoyed it and was wondering how could I try and get some more work.

When I look at the recruitment agencies - all the jobs are requiring Transcription Work ie Audio.

So where else can I look - I am aware the young ones can type their own stuff too. But anyway would anybody know. Thanks

When I was a student I used to type up essays etc for other students having been a touch typist in a previous life. Most people seem to have computers these days so would think there was less call for this type of work. Having said that, if you can do a professional job I'm sure there would be work out there. Could you advertise this as a service?
I think most will be audio typing

yes I'm finding all audio. The guys we typed for quite old and wouldn't have typed their own hence friend and myself would have done and it was turned into 3 books with a little complimentary note at the front of the book re ourselves. So that was nice.
