Mikey (Rip) Have Lost Anyone Online Before This?

I’ve lost quite a few other online friends so wondered had anyone else here lost others?

By my definition of a friend, I do not have any on-line friends, they are merely acquaintances. However if my criteria of friendship is met then they cease to be an acquaintance and become my friend and that has only happened to one person.
I find it difficult to grieve and am not one fore emotional expressive sentiments and no, I have never lost an on-line friend, but certainly on-line acquaintances.
Does that make sense?

I really miss Mrs Overall and her sparkling wit, used to keep me laughing and I expect she did this for you lot too. What a star she was!

I think it’s the familiarity of a regular poster that when cut short for whatever reason jolts us. I mostly did not agree with mikey, in fact he irritated me, but his consistency and stubbornness to fight his corner earned respect. The shock of his demise did upset me, bringing home our fragile mortality. Ask not for whom the bell tolls.
