Anyone know what politics the Catalan independence movement follow?

Apart from wanting independence, what is their stance on immigration? On welfare? On international relations?

And so on... it's all very well to jump on the bandwagon of 'independence', but there's got to be more solid ground than just that!

There you can see that there are Catalan nationalist parties of all political colours.
Puigdemont the current/ex PM depending on your viewpoint was a member of a centrist liberal nationalist alliance

They'll work out what's dominant as things settle down; if they're allowed to.

It’s been said by many as it is true.
To be honest, none of us here are experts on Catalan politics so what the various nationalist politicians think about this or that is pretty much an unknown.
It does seem a significant majority of the population support the calling of elections.
