Whereas I obviously don't condone Weinstein's revolting abuse of these women, if he is indeed guilty, but what I must question is the fact that what woman would have such pleasant looking photos taken with their earlier abuser or rapist?

This photo in particular taken in 2004 after he had allegedly raped her in a hotel room back in 1997.

I might live to regret this post...however... Harvey Weinstein, quite a genius at what he does, powerful, rich, not particularly attractive physically but that's not everything, might have been a nice guy to his wife as Ummm says. There's that mystery solved about why she married him. Why has she left him? Well either she believes his accuser all of a sudden...

There is no text with that picture - could we please have the full facts and story before commenting?
Also, your typed headline is about his wife leaving him but the body of your question is about the alleged acts so what is it you wish us to comment on?
i listened to the secret recording of him and the model on the radio this morning. I felt a bit sorry for him. While not condoning his alleged indiscretions, there wasn't all that much in the recording if you ask me. He asked her to his room, she said no, he asked her again, she said no. That's about it
Wouldn't that just be an extension of the principle behind women staying in other abusive relationships? I don't see why you should be so surprised at the idea that maybe people who were victims of Weinstein, or any other powerful man who used that power to abuse women, would rather put that behind them out of shame or embarrassment.
He's a powerful man, if they want to carry on working then perhaps they felt they had no option but hang out with him?
Am I the only one who doesn't care if his wife is leaving him?
Nope I don't care either!!
Just wondering what the author of the question wants answering!
I think it matters only in the context that until recently Weinstein claimed that his wife "standing by him" despite the recent allegations.

On its own I agree that I wouldn't particularly care, but it adds to the picture that this man has fallen significantly, and rapidly, from grace.

Always willing to help those who are too lazy or perhaps unskilled enough to open the link:

Asia Argento (above in 2004) said that Harvey Weinstein raped her in a hotel room at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc back in 1997. Three other women also accused him of rape.

/// Also, your typed headline is about his wife leaving him but the body of your question is about the alleged acts so what is it you wish us to comment on? ///

An headline is to attract attention so as to open up further valid information on the report in general.
he 'flies to Europe for sex addiction rehab'

Is he friends with Roman?
No doubt the Meryl Streep and her Hollywood friends will be applauding him in some future award ceremony.

You are an extremely rude little man!!
The link that you provided http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/10/11/02/4532735400000578-4968300-More_victims_emerge_Asia_Argento_above_in_2004_says_that_Harvey_-a-58_1507683704740.jpg
Has no text with it - given that your headline has no corrolation with your main body of text the picture could be of anyone!!
So before you call me lazy or unskilled you may wish to look in a mirror!
Next time you have a temper tantrum because you feel someone has been rude to you - you may wish to remember this episode where you have been downright rude and insulting to me!

Oh, so that to protect their jobs, they are prepared until now to accept that he raped and abused them?

The so called 'Casting couch' has a lot to answer for.

Islay try the main text to the story.
Islay don't bother, AOG loves to post inflammatory headings loosely associated with the questionable question in the body of his post.
bednobs - // i listened to the secret recording of him and the model on the radio this morning. I felt a bit sorry for him. I have heard the recording as well, and that is a seriously over-simplified view of it, in my opinion.

Mr Weinstein repeatedly tried to cajole and then bully the woman into behaving as he wanted - even though she quite clearly said no, and made it very clear that she was not comfortable with his requests.

A man who continually cajoles and then bullies in that manner is a man who is not used to being disobeyed by women over whom he has power - real or imagined.

Your sympathy is seriously misplaced.

Yet another one who doesn't understand the concept of an headline.
Since there is not a particular news story that also addresses my query, one has to use the headline of the most recent story appertaining to this ongoing Harvey Weinstein saga, so as to enter a valid debatable thread on this case.

Now if I had just put the headline regarding Weinstein's wife leaving him, without the following text that I provided, I could well understand other ABer's confusion, but I didn't so I can only take it that some chose this to be yet another 'Let's have another go at AOG" thread.
It's all very Jimmy Savile ... many knew but didn't say anything.

Although the sainted M Streep has spoken out and said the disgraceful news about Harvey Weinstein has appalled those of us whose work he championed.

Not sure then why she chose to applaud Roman Polanski.

Hillary and the Democrats are going to go short next year.
"one has to use the headline of the most recent story"

Can one not type one's own question title?
