Late For Work.

My mate Joe was half an hour late at work last Friday, which was strange as he lives half a mile from his workplace so a lot of the usual excuses were not available for him. His boss asked why he was late, expecting alarm clock failure or similar, but was quite sympathetic when Joe said his wife was very upset, crying that she didn't want to be pregnant any more. He asked Joe how long she'd been pregnant, as it was the first he'd heard it. Joe looked at his watch and said ''about twenty minutes''.
