It seems so strange that on the news section, we often see various celebrities deaths entered for condolences and comments, and yet the Brother in Law of the heir apparent dies in an unfortunate freak accident but this hasn't until now been put up for similar responses.

What a terrible accident to happen to anyone celebrity or otherwise RIP.

i read this in my paper this morning, very sad .
Never heard of him.

Know nothing about him.

He is the brother of Charles' mistress / second wife.

Tens of thousands of people who I do not know die every day. This is just another one. It doesn't bother me one way or the other.
The husband of a disabled friend died recently, she will somehow have to deal with the funeral and selling the house so that she can move into a warden assisted flat. That really is sad.
Probably because no-one has heard of him. Unless it's used as another launching pad for the anti Royals or anti Camilla brigade it's not really worthy of AB news. RIP anyway.
I had never heard of him until this story aog. I dont think it is strange that nobody rushed to comment on the unexpected death of someone who we never knew existed until he no longer did.
without wishing to mention the DM, but its on their front page

Was he a Celebrity then, or just famous by association?
Always sad to hear of the death of someone your own age, makes you think!

Not the place for this type of thing, says quite a lot about you though.
And now he was the brother of Charles' mistress / second wife.
She must be very sad, such a sudden death is a shock.
Don't often agree with Gromit, but I do this time !

Yes that is also sad but has nothing to do with the thread.

My brother fell and hit his head, he was in his early forties. Died upon impact but he slipped into the ocean.
Stone cold sober. No drugs either.
He was in his mid-forties. (This was in 1991)
One minute, you think you have your brother, and the next minute, woosh, all gone.
All that's left are memories and wishes that more memories could have been made.
But people often deviate from a thread AOG - it's the nature of the beast !
AOG, I was very sad for the brother of our next queen but I didn't post because, although known to me, he was not widely known in the Cool Britania Islington set and I did not want to give a platform to the "skip" mob who, whilst hating our next king and Queen, do not have the intelligence to tell us how the hurdling could be achieved. So please forgive me, as you have now brought this up I will take the opportunuty to add my own condolences to the pile.

Before you tell people

///Not the place for this type of thing, says quite a lot about you though///

Remember your own performance on this thread

That was somewhat out of place as well
My nephew fell and hit his head and suffered massive brain damage in the process. One day he had a wife, a job, and a home, and the next a place in a care home where he'll spend the rest of his days.
The death of Camilla's brother must be very sad for her but, in light of the other possibilities, it might have been the best thing for him.
With Gromit on this one, am I now a member of the Islington set TTT? Have to get my swivel eyes fixed and my arms shortened if I am !
No need YMB, I support anyone's right to be republican, I am mainly talking about those that hate Charles and Camilla and say really brainless things like "it should skip a generation and William whould be the next king" - sadly they never seem to offer a method for this process.
TTT - as a member of the 'skip mob' I must admit to not being a fan of Camilla. Meanwhile, if you are looking to see how hurdling could be achieved, better ask someone close to the horses. Any ideas?
