Does anyone know why the gronant beach is a SSSI - a site of special scientific interest?

 

OH, and we saw two water spouts almost tubing from the sky - low cloud, a bit windy - and the tubes snaked back up - so to speak. Are waterspouts a feature in Rhyl? - camera in the car of course.....

Natterjack Toad - is that the one Klammerer made a fool of himself over in the thirties - he thought he had proved Lamarck, but the results had been forged ?
