Is there such a thing?

I am getting a bit saggy around the jaw line and it needs a small lift. I went for a consultation and they explained where they would cut etc. But I wondered if there was such a thing as a face lift that wasn't so invasive. Lasers? etc Or will it definately need a scalpel?

Cheers

Have just had the 9th (of 10) session of CACI - non surgical facelift. My skin has improved dramatically and my face is looking firmer. I just look 'better'.

might be worth trying something like dermaroller... I'm probably having a course before the wedding to freshen and tighten if it works I will let you know
Someone I know has an acupuncture 'facelift' every six months or so and looks amazing.

brilliant. Have found CACI clinic near me. I am lucky in that although mid 50's I have very few wrinkles -its just the slight sagging of the jaw line that irks me. Will defo book a course of CACI

What does CACI mean ?.
Not sure but I bet it's expensive...
Most stuff to do with you ladies beautifying yourselves usually is, isn't it rowan.
Its not overly rowan i had a session on my eyes as part of a package- my local college offers it when the students are practicing- like little roller with little shocks but not sore at all xx
I think I might be doing a lot of stuff before the wedding...
Probably make a dent in the purse dept rowan.
Hope you enjoy your session, Maggoty. It shouldn't be but I found the treatment very relaxing.
Me too!! Xx

Hi hons

Not 'expensive' at all. My jaw line is the only thing that really irks me about my appearance and I then received a leaflet about plastic surgery - face lifts etc from our local BUPA hospital. Went for a consultation thinking it won't be that much as the skin only needs about a half inch lift either side and they wanted 6K. But what put me off was the fact that they were cutting into me in no small way. Naivley I assumed it would be key hole stuff. Anyway - that was dismissed straight away.

CACI stands for Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument.

CACI (as recommended by you guys) costs between £40-45 per session but you get a half hour consultation at the start FOC so that they can talk over the procedure, results (sales pitch lol) etc. The place I am going to if you book the first session to follow the half hour consultation they reduce the cost of the first session to £25 (a good way to close the deal - smart move on their part).

When I phoned them they were very helpful and the girl went through the procedure for me over the phone, explaining the after effects (slight redness etc) and how the actual thing works (tightening up the muscles and encouraging the production of collagen) Bless her - she spent nearly half an hour on the phone to me. That, and the research via the net, makes me feel confident enough to take their special offer without feeling I'm be railroaded into making a rash decision.

My appt is on the 12th June. Can't wait. x

Ps - they recommend 10 sessions but it is down to you to stop when you want to - so no pressure to part with the £400-450 in one go x
