if my memory foam mattress is the reason for my lower back pain, I have just been away for a long weekend sleeping on a normal mattress where my back felt fine the whole weekend, been home for one night slept in my own bed and woke with the same old back pain. has anyone else had this problem?

I had one of them on trial for 60 days, the 1st and last night was terrible, i woke up with terrible headache and backache, i would not buy one myself personally.

I did hope it would help my back but seems to make things worse
my hubby finds ours a big help and wakes up ache and painfree. Ive noticed that my arms, and legs ache (like having a dead leg) when i wake up, i think its when ive been lying on them, but it quickly clears. never suffered like this on the old normal mattress, just used to wake up with a bad back. WE have had our mattress about 8 weeks so the jury is stilll out on memory foam mattresses as far as im concerned!!
I am having doubts about mine too...have had a bad back for about a year now and when I think about it, this coincides with the purchase of a memory foam bed...hm...
Physio is helping me, but I am aware of waking up with backache which seems a bit suspect to me.

I thought maybe I was the only person who doubted the memory foam but have also spoken to a couple of people today who have said similar things regarding their backs aching and their mattress being a memory foam
