Like sending dogs into a stable to savage a defenceless pony:

http://news.bbc.co.uk...erbyshire/8569017.stm

They haven't got any photos on the this link, but they're horrific. The poor animal has a gash as wide as human fist right down the side of her face.

I think when they catch the people who instigated this, they shouldn't put their dogs down, but should shut them up in a shed with them instead.

barstewards that would be to good for them
Exactly what we thought, saxyjag, when we read this. That is truly vile.
i've watched this report on my local news, it,s sickening. the horse will not be able to foal again because of this. what kind of morons is this country producing?
What sick evil scum.
I'm sorry, but cannot bring myself to read it. Is the pony ok now?
Only happened on Friday NoM, I've only read what's here but the poor thing sounds in a bad way. Wicked. It doesn't say whether the sh*tes left the pony there until someone found her in the morning, and just went home with their beastly dogs. I hope they get 'em. I'll watch.
Some people are unimaginably cruel. The poor thing must have been crippled with pain and fear. Effing b@stards.
^ I'll retract my "I'll watch" from my last posting, in case people feel that this makes me no better than these evil s*ds who watched this vile thing taking place - but you know what I mean.

The pony seems to making a recovery, but it will be slow and, as lslowry says, she will not be able to rear foals again. But she's moving around, seems calm and doesn't seem afraid of any of the people around her. She's also been moved to a safe, secret location.

From what I could make out from the TV report, the she was found in her stable by the man who owns the stables, who immediately called the owner. He doesn't say whether he saw the dogs or not, but I guess any vet can tell immediately how such injuries have been caused.
That's good to know, saxy_jag - I wish pony as good a recovery as possible, I'm sure we all do. I hope she can have peace for the rest of her pony days.
If they catch them they will blame it on drink or drugs !

Let them have the same drink or drugs and then birch them, Scumbags.
