it says he is ony potentially dangerous so therefore it seems the police are coveireng themselves as he breached his bail conditions. The reality is all sex offenders are released after they serve their sentence whether they are rehabilitated , dangerous or not. The sentences shoud be far greater with treatment mandated

but yes as a society we elect the officials who make the laws and there is no public pressure to have lengthier sentences for sex offenders or mandated treatment. In fact very little treatment options exist. We are also the same society that are responsible for producing these monsters as many have grown up in care , impoverished areas and with mental health issues all of which have been left untreated or not provided for

Well it could be argued that hundreds of prisoners who serve their sentence and are released are still dangerous.
If a person does some violent attacks and gets say a 2 year sentence, at the end of that time he is released, but is still dangerous.
They were dangerous when they went in, they are dangerous when they come out.

I guess because he was coming to the end of his sentence and was gradually being reintroduced into society.
As I said above, all prisoners must come to the end of their sentence, and rather than just let them straight out of prison they are gradually acclimatized.
The other option is to keep them in prison for ever.
I agree that maybe some people SHOULD be in prison for ever (the Krays!) but many others get a few years for a particular crime and are then released.

my idea of treatment is a form of cognitive behavioural therapy where they learn to manage their thoughts in a way that doesnt lead to criminal behaviour. Also victim offending behaviour whaere they learn to understand the impact on the victim nad learn victim empathy. I would recommend risk assessment and risk management treatment to manage their risk if returning to the community.

What he did was wrong, but compared to scum like Peter Sutcliffe - or worse, in my opinion, the guy who killed Holly and Jessica - it was nothing.
Sex offenders are THE worst, and if I had my way, the ones who murder with it wouldn't see the light of day ever again - and that's being charitable.

offenders can commit the same offences minus their sex organs, If someone is convicted for sexual abuse involving oral sex of the victim, inappropriate rouching and/or inserting objects in to the victim then they can commit the same crime minus their organs. Sexual abuse is not ony intercourse and oral sex

I also see young offenders without treatment graduate to adut offenders where the system that proports to care for them lets them down,
