i have a shop in renfrewshire scotland but i have had a bus stop re sited to outside my shop, this resulted in the loss off around 7 parking spaces and a detrimental effect on my business,i still have around 10 spaces across the street but ive now heard that the council propose to resite another bus stop to across the street resulting in the loss of these 10 parking spaces aswell, does anyone know if the council need to consult the public first and what can be done to stop it,what are the laws involved,my council will sneak it through the back door so what do i watch out for.

How can you lose parking spaces that were not yours in the first place?
If anyone wants to buy from your shop they will just park in the bus stop anyway
