From today heavy goods vehicles are to be targeted by cameras within the M25 to ensure these vehicles are fitted with filters costing 000's. Do you agree with this measure said to save 1000's of lives every year?

I certainly do - in reality a small number of lorries and buses and coaches will be affected and the filters are effective.

How do you know the filters cost thousands of pounds? I can't find any evidence of that, although I suspect it won't be cheap.
I agree with the sentiment, i wonder though whether operators will just pass on costs, generally fueling inflation.
Of course they will, but it will be a 'one off' cost.
