Not a child and not last weekend - start your own thread in history section please
Just being balanced, your post makes it look like it's only the Tories who indulge in a bit of fisty cuffs.

The key words are 'assaulting children' and if you remember Prescott was attacked first - but the post isn't about him and I don't support those lot either
The assaults were on his teenage son and daughter.
And then there was Conservative MP Andrew Pelling who was arrested for assaulting his pregnant wife last year

I guess it must be frustrating realising that you're never goint to get into power but taking it out of wives and kids is a bit much.
Quite a big difference between 'the tories' and 'a tory'
Question Author
They always were big on 'family values'
Question Author
Booldawg, based on Jakes evidence above I'd say no difference at all

I don't care about his excuses
Telegraph report:

"Nigel Waterson, Tory MP for Eastbourne and shadow minister for Work and Pensions, was arrested yesterday for allegedly assaulting his teenage son and daughter.

A spokesman for Scotland Yard said that he could confirm that at around midnight on Sunday night officers attended an address in Bromley following reports of an assault.

The spokesman said: "A 58 year old man was arrested. Detectives from the Child Abuse Investigation Command (SCD5) are investigating.

"The victim did not attend hospital. Following police attendance an allegation was made concerning previous alleged offences on a second victim."

The spokesman stressed that the allegations were not of a sexual nature.

Mr Waterson was later released on bail to return to a south London police station on a date in early March pending further inquiries."
So he clipped a couple of yobs round the earhole. No one would have batted an eyelid when I was a teenager. big bloody deal. I think Tony Blair and co may be responsible for a teensy wheensy bit more violence!

Noo labour and there supporters seem to be getting increasdingly desperate! It's bye bye guys, opposition for while after the next election. You had a go and loused it up!
are you trying to say the all conservative MPs, councillors, party members and follows hit children?

if not, please explain what you are trying to suggest with this

Loose I agree Blair is guilty of a lot more violence, I see him as a war criminal, however, that's another thread

Red, no - sorry if you are unable to understand but read please try again you might get it
Zac, I can if I want to - and self-defence is usually a good excuse for violence
Question Author
Raggy, stop being so liberal - he is so obviously guilty, he's a tory for christs sake
Amazing turn-around of logic from posters such as Jake-The-Peg who are keen to point out that a small minority of muslim terrorists or gun toting 'sarf' london black teenagers DO NOT reflect of the vast peaceful majority. Obviously the same ethos doesnt apply to tory policticians.
