Paul, surley that's a contradiction in terms. If he was asleep how did he 'earn' it? He was paid it, he did not 'earn' it.

I feel we should support any sports person male or female, regardless of weather we personnaly like/follow the sport. They are after all representing us as a Country.

�40 per day is more than enough for a bunch of talentless women, most of which are probably immigrants anyway.

Even if a football man is on say �40,000 per week, he is 1000x more talented, more exiting to watch and more deserved.

If the women players can prove they have the star appeal then I can guarantee decent sponser deals will be flying in like women tennis.

But they won't becaause womens football is a complete waste of time.

I am not the least bit sexist, but they really are better served working in a more feminine role, or staying at home either breast feeding or at least thinking about it.

While the womens football is usually dire the fact remains that more than �40 per day should have been paid.

Now lets talk about those lovely lads in footie that actually earn their pay and sponsor ships. There are some great footballers setting fine examples to other granny grabbers, drug abusers, alchie and adulterers out there. And I hear they all enjoy a nice roast on a Sunday too.

�280 x 5 = �1400 Gross pay
Minus 25% tax + Nat Ins etc = aprox �1050 net,
Hardly a whinge is it?

And lets face the fcats that all their expenses are paid, they actually only train for a few hours a day (which can easily be spent in a gym anyway) and how long is a game of football??

The minimum wage is �5.60p.h (there abouts).
