you said he was going to lose. A pretty safe bet, given that only two people at Wimbledon won't lose? Go on, sneer at the Brit, you unpatriotic swine.
22 people wont lose

I take the general point , though

Tim has been a godsend to gambling men for years! Suppose you wanted to win 100.00, all you had to do was stake enough to win on his Round 1 opponent to achieve that. Just for illustration, say the guy was at 8/1 with the bookies, you staked 12.50 on him. If he won, you'd got your 100.00...if he lost, you staked enough on Tim's Round 2 opponent to win 112.50. At one point or another, your profit was assured.
They must all hope that the Henman Hill crazies never stop following him!
He may have lost again at Wimbledon however....lovely wife, lovely kids, nice house, great holidays every year and pots of money in the bank, not much of a loser in my eyes!
Yes but all people who take part in sport would always prefer titles. Even the crap tennis players achieve massive bank balances, so i miss your point.

He always was crap. More like Tony the Tiger.LOL.
I agree with Zulu, when he's retired at home he won't have to spend much time polishing his trophies....
Jeez oh, no wonder I often think that some people never have a decent thing to say about anyone anymore!!
Tim !!! Tim !!!! Tim !!! C'mon Tim !!!

Yes well done stokeace - and guess what, the England Rugby team won't win later this year, the English football team won't win Euro 2008, the English cricket team won't win the next ashes, blah blah blah.

And thanks to attitudes like yours where we like to moan about our potential stars, we won't win many titles in the future.

Lets learn something from the Australians and get behind our players.

jno im not unpatriotic at all im just realistic and oneye again im not moaning about our potential stars but henman has been trying to win wimbledon for many years and now on an interview even he says todays up and coming british tennis stars are not warranting the money being spent on them.so does he think that all the money spent on him was a good investment?i think not.he is now in the same vein as eddie the eagle..........a good old british loser.stiff upper lip and all that nonesense.roll on euro 2008..........if we qualify lol
Why are the sports stars always named after tigers (like Tiger Wood) ?

Why not after a bird, ie 'eagle-eyed Tim' or for his amazing agility, 'Tim the monkey'?
