Is anyone else, like me, absolutely delighted that Brian Haw has been voted 'Most Inspiring Political Figure' of 2007by the public? The vote was held by Channel 4 on: http://www.channel4.com/news/microsites/P/poli ticalawards/vote.html

His acceptance speech was very moving.

same old leftist media propaganda. Yawn, not Haw
Gosh, how did Channel 4 manage to filter out all the votes from right-wingers then?

It's only democratic as long as you agree with it, eh?
Sadly, most people don't know (or like admarlow) don't care about Brian Haw.

I think it is superb news though.
fabulous news. What did Tony have to say about it. Admarlow you are back....i see your travels have not broadened your horizons. they let you back in then?

I would love to know what Bliar's reaction was, Dom. They've tried everything to get rid of Brian Haw - he's been continually harassed by the police, he's had his placards confiscated, he's had his nose broken twice, he's been taken to court several times and they've even introduced a new law to get rid of him. Everything has failed.

This amazing man has endured more than 5 years of deprivation and hardship because he can't live his normal life while our government is killing innocent children in Iraq.

There were six candidates in this vote and Brian Haw got 54% of the vote while Bliar got 8%. Obviously rigged ........ how on earth did Bliar gte 8%!
At least is wasn't won by the muslim post box.
