a wonderful person told me how to code images to appear side-by-side... (<img src="abc1.gif"><img src="abc2.gif"> ) - but how do I attach a caption to EACH one separately and individually?

Also, HOW do I get the images (and their respective captions) to be in what's effectively a separate column, with the normal text wrapped around them?

The simplest html code for idjit beginners please!
Thanks guys!!!
