What a wonderful sight to see Gordon Brown and his wife sat side by side at the Taj Mahal on their visit to India, they seem to be so much in love. He has statesman written all over him and will certainly make an excellent Prime Minister. I just hope his Scottish roots do not go against him, as this would be a terrible loss to the nation.

What makes you sick HammerHead, is it because he is Scottish?
Likewise David Cameron - it's been too long since we've had an Old Etonian at the helm. The country needs a man who can cycle to work with a windmill on his roof safe in the knowledge that his dignity is unscathed.
Perlease!

Can I have the bucket after you hammer.

Brown was handed the strongest economy in Europe, and then used it to screw us all by stealth, worst performance as Chancellor since the last Labour rabble! Gawd knows what he'll do if he becomes PM. Still he'll only get about a year as a lame duck before Cameron boots his lefty arse out!
No, it's because I've never read anything so nauseatingly sychophantic in my life. Besides, the man is a complete disaster and would probably complete Britain's slide into oblivion. Please wash carefully when you extract yourself from his rectum.

Can you also explain why you think It would make me sick that he is Scottish?
Got to agree with hammerhead and loosehead. All he wants is to see PM after his name.
By the way, I am Scottish
I'm thrilled for them both. Gordon Brown is a wonderful man - without his taxation I would still be a home owner. To think he and his wife are in India at the taxpayers expense thrills me - and so does the thought that as a future Prime Minister his days in office are thankkfully numbered.
Not really the sort of response you were expecting is it. Perhaps you should have posted this in Body and Soul where this sort of vomit-inducing rubbish seems to be the norm.
How nice for Gordon Brown and his wife ..I couldn't care less if he is a Scot or a not ....all I know is that he has his pound of flesh and more out me and a good many others .
Robbed pension funds and taxed us all to high heaven ..and even though we, personally are retired we are still chucking money into his ever open coffers in one way or another for him to waste on hare brained policies. . Terrible loss to the nation ? He should stay where he is ....perhaps they can find him a job in a call centre .
'twas ever thus with Labour, be it new or old - tax and spend tax and spend: it has never worked in the past and for the life of me I can't understand why he thought it would work this time.

Inflation is up, taxes are at their highest for a very long time, more and more people are in the 40% tax bracket becuase the threshold is not being increased sufficiently (which is a stealth tax by any other name), and he has stolen our pensions.

Yep, he is truly a great chancellor.
Why don't you remind me what inflation was like under good old Maggie?

Tell you what here's a table to help you

Oh sorry I forget any facts you don't like are the result of Labour fiddling the books aren't they?
Eh? we're not talking about what happened twenty odd years ago, we are talking about now. That's bloody typical of your lot, you always hark back to the Tories while blindly fumbling on believing the current administration is nigh on perfect.

Plus, if we are going to hark back, inflation in 1975 was over 24%. Now which party was in charge then I wonder?

Brown is screwing us with taxes and he has stolen our pensions. Surely you are big enough to see this. Aren't you?

I never thought my comments about Gordon Brown would incur the wrath of the Conservative H.Q.
Did you all crawl from under your Daily Mails to fire off a reply? The hatred shown to this man confirms my belief that there is racism at work here because of his nationality.
casaespana....I do not read the Daily Mail neither do I belong to the Conservative HQ... and I resent being labelled a racist by you because I don't agree with you .. ..In my post I said I could not care less if GB is a Scot ...he could be an alien from outer space for all I care . The fact that he has taxed us to high heaven has nothing to do with his nationality ....
Nobody in any of your replies has played the race card because he is a Scot ..Read the answers carefully before you start accusing people of racism .
So you throw "isms" when people dare to not share your views then, right oh! I think the nationality of the man has only been made an issue here by one person, now let's see if we can guess who that might be! Thanks for the stars by the way.
Brown is obsessed with families. Watch his speeches, its all families, families, families nothing for the single person. He has handed out welfare benefits "working families tax credits" to people with children who already earn a sizeable wage, often households with two wages. What is that all about? It seems to pay for a second holiday for the people who receive it. No single persons tax credits though, a vote buyer if i ever saw one.
