Are you suggesting that native British people don't commit murder and violent crimes?

.... I suppose if either of the Ipswich arrests had been immigrants you'd have posted the links to those too!

Now try and convince me you're not being selective in your evidence!
Jake, the point is,we have enough criminals without importing them.
Most immigrants are not criminals as you very well know if you actually stop and think about it, just as most emglish people are not. there is good and bad in every race, colour and creed on earth so no, the borders need to come down, not up.
It's going to get a lot worse when Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania join the EU. They have high rates of corruption and poor immigration control. People will drift in, claim citizenship, then be legally allowed to settle in any EU country they wish. Which ones do you think they are going to opt for? The ones where police carry guns (France, Spain, Holland etc) or the soft touch UK ~ where all the poor old bobby has is a stick and a radio to call for help once he or she has been shot!!
"where all the poor old bobby has is a stick and a radio to call for help once he or she has been shot!! " I'm sure Jean Paul de Menezes' family will agree with you - and luckily the US (who's police force carry weapons) don't have an immigration problem either.
I think this is a overtly racist "question".

vhelpful guy has specifically gone out to find violent crimes committed by foreign nationals in the UK.

He has ignored and violent crimes commited by British people.

Peter Sutcliff - British
Fred West - British
Harold Shipman - British
Dennis Nielsen - British
Ian Brady - British
Mira Hindley - British

If all of these had been Indonesian what would you be saying?

Stopping people from Peckham getting out into Britain might be a very good idea. The culture there is very different. Life is cheap and children are raised from infancy to believe in blood feuds and eat strange foods. Such people must never be exposed to British values.
jellied eels.....

......say no more
Now try and tell me British people should be allowed to go abroad:

Just as I wouldn't want to be judged abroad by one person's sick actions, i wouldn't judge all immigrants on a few who are deranged.
How many of the police officers murdered in the last few years have been killed by immigrants/ asylum seekers? I think you will find that for the last few years there has been far more than have been attacked by indiginous criminals. Good question vguy, ignore jake the leftie, the point jake, is that we have more than enough scum of our own without importing the worlds lowlife. Anybody lucky enough to get access to this country should cherish this privelidge, not treat it as an excuse to behave in a criminal manner.
Samuel has got a good point about Turkey being allowed to join the European Union. I would have thought that after all the fuss about Muslims; to open our doors and allow further immigrants (legal or illegal) from Turkey will be like lighting a fuse to gunpowder. We should refuse immigrants from ANY country in future that is not willing to accept a secular state.
so happy to include Turkey then: http://www.answers.com/topic/secular-state
True oneeyedvic but 99% of the population of Turkey is a MOSLEM. You don't forsee any problems then?
well, most Turks seem to cope with living in a secular state at home; why should they find themselves unable to do so in Britain?

Prove it Johnny! Stop being lazy, do some work for a change and show us the facts rather than ranting based on your prejudices!

You only have to look at any conflict in the world today and most stem from religious values. Just look at Ireland, Iraq, or Afganistan. Any reasonable person would come to the conclusion, that however well intentioned, they just don't mix. Even the pope had troubles when talking about the history of Turkey. Unless we are all willing to accept this fact the problems will continue.

Jake to come up with the above you have spanned 40 years and besides if British born people commit heinous acts thats a British problem, it shouldn't be our problem because we are stupid enough to import all the vermin from eastern europe, Africa etc.

Our borders should be closed to all that are not professional people who can contribute to our country.

Sensible countries like Canada and Australia take the professionals and as usual we take all the dregs
pc Stephen Oake, murdered by Kamel Bourgas, Algerian assylum seeker.
pc Ian Broadhust, murdered by David Beiber, US immigrant.
pc Sharon Beshinevsky, murdered by Yusuf Jama, Somali assylum seeker.
pc Rachael Bown, shot by Trevon Thomas, from Trinidad.
There are some facts jake. And i have not had to go back decades to find them. If you could just rein in your anti British prejudices and accept the fact that we shouold not accept the worlds lowlife then maybe you could give a balanced view.
Cue jake frenzidly scouring leftie websites to claim that this country should still be apologising for the empire, slave trade etc and welcome any nutter roaming the earth. I've got news for you , they are already here.
