Is the Answerbank receiving too many quiz questions? I know that this is a Q & A site, but I keep on seeing the same questions cropping up. Maybe a Quiz section would help, or am I being too fussy?

i wouldnt want to make people feel unwelcome in putting up their quiz questions, i enjoy trying to answer them and seeing who has, but i think the idea of a quiz section is excellent, i think i could do more justice to the quiz questions if they were highlighted in that way. What's more, some of the other questions would stay in their top 20 for longer, which would be good for those of us who like the debate style questions (my favourite). well said simon :-)
Sometimes the same questions are asked repeatedly. Could the instances of identical, almost simultaneous questions not all be combined into one with all the questioners names listed? It would save other questions being knocked off the screen. I agree with the quiz category suggestion and would also like to see a "celebrities in the news" type category so we could avoid the Dale & Nell questions appearing everywhere. They've even invaded the music section now and unless either of them has had a career change even more unlikely than their marriage it really doesn't belong there :)

While I agree totally I'm not going to hold my breath....I said this back in October last year along with a few other suggestions that were ignored....C'est la vie.
sft42 why do you think your suggestions have been ignored ? I've seen them acknowledged by the Ab Ed. Do you imagine that the site will be reformatted every time someone makes a suggestion, however impractical or half baked the suggestion might be ? What's with this underlying tone of site ownership from two or three regular site users ? Most people seem to be satisfied with things the way they are. Do you go to your local supermarket on a regular basis and winge because you don't like the way they stack the shelves ?
A: Yes B: No C: Maybe D: David Beckham
