Can you settle an argumant. My Dad thinks my dog is ''a ball of cotton woll on legs and serves no purpose at all''. I think it is the cutest thing imaginable and is great for carrying around in a handbag. Look at this picture and tell me whose side are you on?

And that is not actually my dog.I cannot put a pic ot my dog on the internet but it looks just like that one so you get the drift.
I agree it's a cute dog. However I don't agree with dogs being toted around in handbags.

Is there any other reason why your dad wants to get rid of the dog? maybe he shouldn't have agreed with getting the dog..a little research on the animal before purchasing is usually the best thing to do. Maybe he is peed off with having to look after it. In which case I agree with him, as it is supposed to be your dog.
If he is a good pet - loyal, loveable, good company and gives you joy, then I'm on your side. However if he is irritable, barks at nothing, bites the postman and soils the carpets and furniture, then your Dad may have a point! Very cute though I agree.

He thinks a dog should have a purpose.Like a sheepdog for rounding up sheep or a rotweiler for guarding people. He hates little dogs that ''are not proper dogs''.I do look after the dog but it is spoilt rotten and will only eat proper meat not dog food.I let it out for walks it is onlt when I have to walk fast it goes in the handbag as it only has tiny legs and it cannot walk fast. And can you imagine a man taking that for a walk?
Well if a dog is a good companion then it does indeed have a purpose. Obviously your dad does not view animals as pets, which is a personal opinion.

If the dog is living in his home, then he has the right to get rid of the dog. If it is living with you & you care for it, what's the problem?

It is his flat but I live in it on my own.My dog does not like my Dad it bites him and it has 7 inches of fur which does tend to fall off everywhere.LOL
Eat the bloody thing, (in the west we would remove furry coat first) don't know about russians !!!!
If it bites then you should be training it not to bite, or get rid of it. It is dangerous to have around other human beings!
Sorry ... I'ts gotta go
Question Author
Why has it gotta go?What has it ever done to you?Look at that cute little face and the little sticking out tongue.
Stick it down you knickers, that might give you a thrill !!!!!
Mr Pippa has a name for toy dogs ~ but as we are before the watershed I won't say just yet.

Suffice to say, the fact that women buy them hasn't gone unnoticed!
Hi pippa, don't forget you owe me a right good snog, ooh I love to suck face XXXX
I'm ready and waiting ray...as long as Mrs Sparx gives me permission!
She won't mind pippa, glad to get rid of me sometimes, don't tell mr pippa though,I don't want a sharp chisel shoved up me jacksie, XXX

Gotta go now take care pippa, XX
Okey dokey ray ~ have a good evening, I'll hide the spirit level!
Dogs are mostly revolting, and crap where people and bike tyres go. Some of them also attack cyclists.

I'll stick with the life-sized model sheep and pig I have in the garden, if you get the drift.
Keep the dog, get rid of your dad. End of problem.
