It's so sad I cried. The baby girl from Egypt who was born with a siamese head has died.

I can't imagine what it must be like for the parents to go through this. Not much news makes me cry but seeing this did. To have to go through pain of siamese separation, when one dies, then you lose the other. poor sweet things.

Oh that's a shame, I had'nt heard about her death! I did watch the recent documentary about her with ...I'm slightly ashamed to say....a kind of morbid fascination, but having gone through all that trauma I am very sorry to hear of her death!
I hadn't heard that news. That is just so heartbreakingly sad. My thoughts are with her family at what must be an awful time.

That is such sad news - I posted a question about the little girl & her 'twin' a little while back: Here

The heading of my Q on that link was so, because that was the name of the Documentary. They could have chosen something a little less shocking, but that's TV for you.

Smudge did you find out further information. She had an infectio nfrom what I can see. i did not see the programme but I saw she looks just like my 2 year old neice and it hurt me so much.

Hi jedi - I didn't actually follow up the little girl's progress after watching the doc, but often wondered how her life would pan out for her & her family.

Both she & her twin were beautiful babies & although her twin didn't have a lower half to her body, just watching her feeding, crying & smiling knowing she was about to die after separation, was just to hard to bare.

(Now you know why Libertie & I aren't very happy with this MORON called Word Butcher).

Wow that is sad. I kinda thought she would after seeing that programme though. See Groundbreaking surgery isn't always that groundbreaking.
