Does anyone here think that if the whale had been in the Severn or somewhere outside of London, then it would hardly have had a mention on the news.
When I heard there was a whale in the Thames,I thought John Prescott had fallen in .

This thread should be ashamed of itself, this is a living creature that has captured the hearts and minds of pretty much the whole world, I tell u what, i am glad I wasn't a member here when Diana died, it would have been too awful to contemplate the small minded responses and dictatorial attitudes

sheff, very sad news. I hope the poor creature is now in whale-heaven with plankton being served by sexy young dolphins in french maids uniforms.

what a horrendous waste of money, about half way through the operation to remove the whale it was estimated to be �50,000, im sure that could have been better spent
