The world is indeed in a parlous place .  With the "Mad Mullahs" in Iran and messianic right-wing Christians holding sway in the USA, we're living in interesting times.

I think the Iranian people will have a variety of views.  I think the evil Islamic controllers will know it's all over for them and they simply want to hide and talk tough while looking for a rogue state to run to.  I suspect the majority of Iranians will be glad to see the back of them, some may even understand the necessity of destroying the nation's nuclear facilities, while many won't be able to.  But that's life.

 

What is immediately next is up to the Islamic overlords, their bully boys, and their evil supporters regarding whether they're daft enough to try some futile gesture. But ultimately it'll be up to the people as to whether the talk of rising up was just talk, or whether they take control back at last.  Ultimately the basic Iranian army needs to be convinced to support the people, not the overlords that ruined the lives of the masses.

what next? in my view the west will be unable to resist sticking its beak in and will impose a government that serves american interests. this government will struggle to maintain authority and civil war will break out. terror groups akin to ISIS may get their hands on chemical and biological weapons and in a few years time the very same people who supported this attack will be complaining about the number of iranian refugees fleeing a destroyed country.
