From the day Britain left the EU.. This reset by Labour was inevitable. What a pointless waste of time and taxpayers money by the Previous Conservative Goverment.Their Brexit cost £4.7 bn just on implementing post EU Border control .Which now looks like was all  to no avail No other Country in the world could have erected such ludicirous barriers against its biggest trading partners. Cameron...Johnson and the likes of Cummings where are they now ??? While the British public are left paying the price.

55% of Brits now say Brexit was wrong compared to the 52% who voted supporting it nine years ago . That's why Britain needs another referendum.

More *** passed off as news (that will remain)

gulliver's claptrap should be in the same category as the likes of

''Good Morning, quarter past eleven birds''

''Let's see how far this one goes,'''

^well, of course, if ABers didn't reply to such nonsense, this poster would stop posting it.

11.58 Gramps....Wrong .You are the one who lost. Brexit has made Britain poorer by "tens of billions of pounds" The result can be seen by slow growth and worse public services etc.

Clone 12.13 Were you by any chance Cloned with "Dolly the sheep" You are always Bleating.

More nonsense ?

The only con on Brexiteers was the failure to go "No Deal". Government is still making the rookie mistake of agreeing to "deals" that are unacceptable, even today.  (Check out the ludicrous so called "Reset" with the satanic EU, and the giving away of the nation's territory to a former colony only to pay taxpayer's money to rent back what was/is their own base.) They need to finally find the guts to stick up for the nation, and say "No !" to those who would abuse it.

Where could we find an impartial view of the effects of Brexit? Was it good or bad for the country?

Trade deals with Australia ,India and America will never ever make up for the Trade lost in the EU because of Brexit.

there seems to be only you that takes notice of anything a politician says. because they speak double talk.  most of us judge them on their actions and don't keep going back to brexit.the deal we had no control over and we know it was not the deal we voted for.but brexit was a correct decision

Question Author

Tommy 17.47 ."And don't keep going back to Brexit ... the deal we had no control over" Eh! You had all the control you needed It was called a Referendum.

This, I feel, is a futile argument. Back and forth it goes and nobody is willing to give an inch. The vote was in 2016, almost 10 years ago.  Many who voted back then will sadly have fallen off their perch whilst there is a whole raft of young voters in their teens and twenties. I don't have a crystal ball so wouldn't even hazard a guess about the outcome of a further referendum. Know what I'd like but that's neither here nor there at the moment.

Thankfully we are out of the EU and will not be hit by Trumps 50% Tariff.  Another benefit of Brexit.

Yes, the Brexiteers were conned; also the Remainers were conned, the abstainers were conned and the disenfranchised were conned. As per normal, everyone was conned. Get over it, if you can ...

I don't know how I could possibly have been conned when I believed all along that we should not have been inviegled into the EU in the first place and I wanted us to get out before any Brexit campaigning took place.🙄

I've said this before...

I voted Remain and I remember that morning well in 2016, flipping open my laptop about to eat my Shredded Wheat and looking incredulously at the news and thinking, bloody hell, they've gone and won the out vote.

However, the fundamental difference between me and the vast majority of Remain voters is that we respect democracy and thought OK, it's done, we'll have to make the most of it. Unfortunately there's a minority, and there's some on this board, who whinge, whine and moan because they only have respect for democracy when democracy agrees with them. They are sad and pathetic.
