I think Trump is bang on here and doing what no other leader would do lest they play the race card. Ramaphosa squirms of course but South Africa is fast becomming the new Zimbabwee.

Trump: "If this was the other way round it would be the biggest story" - the victims are the wrong colour for that.

He's showing printouts from the Daily Mail, live from the Oval Office - another ambush, just like Zelensky. Why isn't Trump telling us what his American administration has found, rather than a British newspaper? And why the ambush?

South Africa's policy of expropriation without compensation of white farms (and only white farms) is text book racism; if you had to explain racism to a child this would be a great example.

I too am surprised at the lack of uproar on the international stage about this, because as sure as eggs are eggs if the colours were reversed you'd hear the outcry from the moon.

This was discussed on this site a few years ago and there was a poster who argued (unsuccessfully) that it wasn't racism. No, me either.

Why not the ambush?

Why not the ambush on Zelensky ...

This isn't about Zelenskyy.

It's about Trump's ambush tactics ...

19:31 no the question is about the "genocide" in south Africa, stick to the topic.

one of the best news exposes iv ever seen on tv, i bet two tier would not have done it, well done to trump

What evidence of genocide is there?

None of South Africa's political parties - including those that represent Afrikaners and the white community in general - have claimed that there is a genocide in South Africa.

But Trump knows better, with Elon Musk by his side in the White House. What a mess.

Question Author

20:24 there is a lot of murdering of white farmers going on just like in Rhodesia a few years back but I wouldn't call it genocide. That's why I put "genocide" in quotes.

It's not genocide (that word is thrown around too lightly, and incorrectly, at the mo - look at Gaza), but it is race fuelled murder with, I would argue, the connivance of the RSA Govt.

Genocide is a stupid word to use, but that figures. If it's anything it's more like 'ethnic cleansing'. There's alot of it about.

the guardian and mirror call it an ambush, readers views in the guardian at the bottom make interesting read, payback deserved lontime coming ourland etc, thing is they do nothing with it, i htink if black ran it, they would still murder and attack saying uncle toms oreo cookies, or black on the outside white in the centre...fickle lot.

> the guardian and mirror call it an ambush

And BBC, ITV, Sky and Channel 4 ...

and the Daily Mail

As ye sow, so shall ye reap

Now that there is black majority rule in South Africa the country has the lowest unemployment rate in the world, the lowest prison population in the world, the lowest crime statistics in the world. At least thats what i've been told.

Another Zimbabwe in the making...
