Joe Biden Cancer Diagnosis.

It was reported on BBC news that President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.  Sad.

While a Gleason score of 9 (as reported in the BBC link) is far from good news, it's not necessarily totally disastrous either.  I was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer (which had spread to my bones and lymph nodes), with a Gleason score of 9, five years ago but I'm still here.

So Joe might not need to book the crematorium just yet!

I wonder if he routinely had annual checks on his prostate, I would expta wealthy man in a developed country to do so.

Buenchico, well done, your doing very well with your diagnosis.  

My son( only child) passed away with Prostate cancer nearly 5 yrs age 64. 

It developed quite quickly spread to his bones. 

I wish you all the very best and many years to come. Hopefully research is getting better all the time. 

I'm sad to read Bidens diagnosis as I would be for anyone else.

Joe Biden is 82... old people die. it is his time. i don't really see any way that the world is better for having joe biden in it and unlike most of us he actually had the chance to make a significant impact. if you wish to shed crocodile tears over powerful individuals go ahead, i'm not stopping you.

Not a good thing to die of, watched my father in angony for year so my symathies to him.

As said above, dont Presidents have continual health checks and if so wouldnt a PSA be given?  I know they are not accurate but some idication surely?  If not there is no hope for us mere mortals.

My wife doesn't like Jo Biden one little bit (nor his son) but when I told her he'd been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer, her immediate response was, "Oh gosh, poor man !".
