So now he's going to ignore the democratic choice of the majority as a government that was voted for by only 20% of the electorate and basically become a vassal of the EUSSR once more.

Yup, the Brexit vote of 2016 is sacrosanct and must never be undone – even if most now realise they were conned by the likes of Farage, Johnson, Reece-Mogg, Gove etc.

and you may be able to go through the much quicker EU gates at European airports. But I dare say you'll refuse, and wait proudly in the foreigners' queues?

Yes THERE can be doubts!

The insect version of James Bond?

I don't trust this man at all. Everything he's doing is the opposite of what he promised in the election campaign. He's got a downright nerve to call himself a Labour politician. He's nothing of the sort. He's the Jim Ratcliffe of British politics.

He promised to work towards a better relationship with the EU.

What's wrong with Ratcliffe? He's rich and successful and is making Man United an even bigger joke. What's not to like?

Wrecking Ball Ratcliffe is a disaster wherever he has an interest. Tis true.

The current deal has unsatisfactory arrangements for movement of goods between the UK and Northern Ireland. It also imposes costs on UK exporters to the EU, particularly on livestock and farm produce.

Brexit has to mean no return to the customs union and single market (including free movement of citizens).

We're being well and truly stitched up and this is just the beginning.  This despicable man has neither sense nor shame.

Undoing the results of endless lies, smoke and mirrors will take some time.

In my Brexit world, Brexiteers would be at the back of any queue to enter Europe (so that they can fully enjoy and appreciate a Brexit benefit).

But I doubt many would be concerned at such a scheme, very few of those wanting to turn us into North Korea would want to travel abroad IMHO.

You're a nutter, Hymie.

I wouldn't want to be in your world.

I see North Korea got their man in power with their election interference.

Can there be any doubt that this post is proof that even with crystal clear evidence, there are those that cling manically to their beliefs, even when they have been proven wrong on multiple occasions?

I think so.

> a government that was voted for by only 20% of the electorate

I approve of percentages like the above, that include "Did not vote".

On the same basis, that's the same electorate that only 37% voted for Brexit in the first place ...

I’ve noticed that Brexiteers on here object to suffering the consequences of Brexit; maybe if more were to be directly affected by their vote, they would think seriously what would happen say, if a country was to decide to place trade barriers between themselves and their nearest & largest import/export market.

I think if Starmer puts his signature to a document that concedes half of the many points being on the table, he will be signing the biggest political sucicide note in history, and will consign the Labour party, at the next General Election, to the history books, and will guarantee Farage & co will form the next government.

chatPGtips: "Can there be any doubt that this post is proof that even with crystal clear evidence" - I've never seen any "evidence" crystal clear or otherwise, only cherry picked figures and the rantings of online obsessives.

"...even when they have been proven wrong on multiple occasions?" - again I have never seen any "proof" only the rantings of the terminally deluded.

Cherry picking figures? Pot, kettle, black.
