As for the illegals, I keep saying this; we do not have a deterrent strong enough to stop them wanting to come here, no matter who is in govt. At the moment, peope are knowingly risking their lives to cross one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world, in flimsy craft, to get here. That should be a deterrent in itself. What stronger deterrent could there be than that?
