Did anyone see her interviewed tonight on GB News ?
She's just what the doctored ordered.
She didn't take Runcorn by just 6 votes she took it by c. 14,000. A staggering achievement & I can see why.
She is certainly a character with a chequered political past ...

But it could have been worse, looking at other Reform candidates ...
Shropshire councillor resigns from Reform UK after suspension - https:/
Jimmy Savile supporter second in local election vote - https:/
> That Jimmy Savile supporter heading is highly misleading
No it isn't. Stephen Hartley the Reform UK candidate. They then disowned him after they realised their "mistake" (ie their lack of checking) but the suspension was after close of nominations, so the ballots still had "Stephen Hartley - Reform UK" on them and the electorate voted on that basis. He was short of winning by 55 votes - a lucky escape by Reform.
09.35 OK Naomi, I get the gist of it now .If this thread mentions the Jimmy Savile... that Starmer failed to prosecute 06.56 It is about jimmy Savile... But if this thread mentions the same Jimmy Savile that Margaret Thatcher used to invite for tea ..then this thread isn't about jimmy Savile OK I get it .Naomi ,,sorry.
> Is that the same Jimmy Savile who a certain Sir Keir Starmer failed to prosecute when he was the head of the DPP?
That's another rabbit hole. My quick take on it is that to fail to prosecute, he would first have to try to prosecute, and the reason he didn't even try is clouded by bias; some say he didn't even know, others that he did. If he did know and he didn't prosecute then you'd have to wonder why, considering the political capital he could gain - the relationship between Savile and Margaret Thatcher (who was still alive at the time), for example. But I fear we will never know the unvarnished truth, and in this thread (on Sarah Pochin) it is definitely a distraction.
