This is just the US grabbing a share of Ukraine, Russia will get their's later and will probably go on to own Ukraine jointly with the US.           The US don't do anyone favours.

Without knowing the exact details of the agreement (perhaps those above do know the intricate details?) it is impossiblr to mmake judgement on way or another.

No-one is claiming that they do, and I wouldn't trust them to honour any agreement they've signed.

However, it is better than what would have happened otherwise which would have been a complete stoppage of any further US aid to Ukraine, and likely cancellation of any sanctions on Russia.

US, and other countries in the West are broke so what is wrong with Ukraine paying for the arms?  We had to to borrow to rescue Europe and look at the thanks we get.

Anyway its not wealth the Ukrainians have in their pocket, it needs mining so worth Jack at the moment, and if they lost the war then they would have the lot plus more taken*including many more lives).

The Americans have abandoned any attempt to be the moral world leader. They are now purely transactional. The 'good' thing is that this time they seem to have transacted with the right side on this occasion.
