Is there a problem announcing this kind of law-lite during daylight hours when people are looking?

Caveats and T&Cs abound.

They may be told that they are to be deported, but they will still have right to appeal using the ECHR, by saying that they have a right to a family life, or they will face danger in their own country.  So in the end, they stay.

When will this lot get around to doing the right thing and as soon as the courts decide they are to be deported, put them on a plane.

You mean like the last lot did 🙄

The ECHR will sort out this slight inconvenience for the foreign sex offender.

If they can send back offenders send back the non offenders who are also illigal anyway but of course they can't because we are stymied by the ECHR, our own trobscites and 5C. Another useless innefective load of row locks to make it look like Labour want to sort this. Just lay out the red carpet and move them into the Ritz like you know you want to really.

//You mean like the last lot did//

Well no they didnt, often because of labour, but also through incometance and lack of balls.  That is why they were kicked into oblivion which also needs to happen to this side of the backside.

This "law" is not going to be worth the paper it is printed on.  Total waste of time and effort, just more hot air from labour.

Which is sort of the point i was making, YMF. Had the Tories had the balls to tow those rubber boats back from whence they came, i dare say they would still be in power. They certainly would've performed much better than they did in the polling booths.

The problem is they were/are not Tories, just like many on the labour benches are not true labour.

If UK courts take priority over ECHR judgments then why does what they decide have any affect on us ? And why is money wasted taking cases to them when any result is irrelevant ?

There is always a good reason for ignoring their opinion; it is that it's none of their business whether we have a better system here than they would like to be imposed.
