09:46 How'd you work that out me old china? I just answered Bednobs.

I don't think the WFA cut was made specifically to target Tory-voting pensioners - that was just a fortunate side effect as far as Labour were concerned.

After all Labour's priority is looking after "working people".

"After all Labour's priority is looking after "working people". - they are looking after foriegners, even after the funding our enemies budget cuts we still give billions at least 400% of what WFA was costing. The WFA cut was a tiny amount in the scheme of things. It was clearly a spiteful move.

Working from anywhere is a daft concept. There may be situations where a specific role works, but the lack of human contact and other snags shows time and again reduced service to the public; plus the opportunity to WFN or maybe SFA.  But unsure what it has to do with welfare cuts, though; unless we are on about service rather than finance.

Just like all the other fag packet ideas...it will be a very expensive way to save money.

think O_G had a senior moment🙄

Yet many OAPs pay tax and create a lot of jobs - carers, home help, gardeners etc much of which is self funded.

fair enough, welfare cuts and help to get in work, while the other folk lie in hotel beds, while we work hard,  pay our taxes only to see them given away to folk we do not know and care even less about

As barry said (12.10) OAPs create a lot of jobs - we also do a  heck of a lot (possibly most) of charitable, volunteer working and earn our place insociety - having already worked and paid in all our lives.
