I can even understand that, because Trump (in his 1st term was nothing like as horrendous as Trump at the beginning of his 2nd term). So it can't be withdrawn, much as I and many others wish it could be.
Trump is at war with the rest of the world, unless it agrees with him: since we were premature - we may as well grit our collective teeth and accept any benefit which may accrue.

I don't want it to go ahead. He's obnoxious and arrogant. He's not a polician or a diplomat. I know people on here have already said that.
But the visit will go ahead. The King will not back-flip with the invitation. He has to remain outside of the politics. So, all you folks that live in or near London are going to have your lives disrupted for the visit of this odious man.
