Donald Trump has done more damage to the West in six weeks than the Kremlin has done in 70 years.He has supported Russia, declared a trade war with China, tried to demolish NATO, fell out with Canada ,turned his back on Zelensky, allowed his gobby vice president to criticise UK troops and dished out trade tariffs like he was dealing from a pack of cards.And after all that there are still people on Ab who still support  him .

Its not looking great all round is it. To a large degree I've stopped listening to Trump when he now comes on TV . At first I thought he may just be trying to knock Putin off balance and confuse him a little. Its ME he's knocked off balance and confused??

I think Trump is mentally ill - and I say that in all seriousness.  He has no grasp on the facts re Ukraine, tells lies and is acting like some medieval emperor before whom all must pay tribute, dolling out favours and diktats by whim.

It's plain to see what he wants Zelensky to do (capitulate) but has said nothing about what he thinks the agressor Putin should give way on or what compromises he should make.  His treatment of Zelensky last Friday was utterly sickening, and removing intelligence aid (which can't cost that much) is beyond the pale.

All this is emboldening China, who will be targetting Taiwan very soon, I'm sure.  Trump needs to be reined in by the US parliament and told he cannot continue to rule by caprice and fiat.

If Zelenskyy did step down and there were a presidential election, I wonder how Trump would react if Zelenskyy stood for re-election?
