No doubt Lammy's just making the expected noises but yes we must increase defence spending. 2.5% GDP is a start but really we should be looking at 5% ASAP.

Well, the way things are looking, internationally speaking, I wouldn't object to paying a bit more to increase our army.

we pay more in debt interest than we do on defence, that's a disgrace. There's a 1000 things that we waste vast sums on that could be cut.

Humans, a failed species.

17:12 well I must admit I normally expect teacake or gulliver to say something stupid.

//I wouldn't object to paying a bit more to increase our army.//

I wouldn't mind being supplied with a weapon to defend myself in view of what looks increasingly likely.

Stupidity abounds TTT. It needs constant vigilance to keep it from taking control society.

And all the while ignoring the enemy within.

It is surprising that supposedly intelligent people can make such asinine statements.

//I wouldn't object to paying a bit more//

Would you pay with your life?

Drawing on our success in Afghanistan what chance have we got of defending Western Europe...

If you were 20 years old would you be mad keen to sign up to fight? Cos that's what it boils down to.

It's OK shouting about the money but what about the human cost.

Question Author

19:22 you win with your 17:12 me old china.

//Cos that's what it boils down to.//

Correct. Whether you have the fight in you or not it is coming. Our grandchildren and their future progency have been commited to fighting for their lives and inheritance whether they want to or not. All the conditions have been put in place by the establishment.

"Signing up" to fight will not be requirement if you want to survive. The signings have already been made in Brussels and the Hague. The invasion was sanctioned there and we have been disarmed of all our defences even protest. An army has already crossed our borders and if you think that the "official" figures or the "news" images tell all then you are already a victim. Who checks what the undetected and secret entrants bring wiith them?

Listen to the podcast from David Betz, Professor of War Studies at King's College, London. He is also certain that civil war is now inevitable.

Yes, togo.  OH and I have been horribly made aware that that opinion is forecasting the inevitable.
