//A controversial Islamic preacher who claimed it’s better to be a paedophile or murderer than to miss prayers will be hosting a series of talks in the UK this month.//

And some of his audience will believe him.

Banned in many European countries but Kneeler is going to let him in.

Probably to appease his vote base.

According to your link, plans are being drawn up to prevent him from entering the country. Or did you not read that far into the article?

Like that is going to happen.

It's not difficult to ban someone, been done before, so why 'plans'.  JFDI if you are going to.

We'll have to wait and see, YMF. No need to get our Alans in a Brahms just yet.

Let's hope the Home Office does stop him, even if it is for the wrong reason

Well we opted out of the EU so we made our own decisions not be dictated to. But the article does seem to indicate he isn't the sort of individual we should be welcoming. His views as described/claimed in that article suggest a warped mind. Let us hope it is one of the few things that parliament gets right and he is turned away.

TBF though this guy is just up front enough to say it, they all believe it. Paedophilia is pretty standard stuff. The prophet setting the example.

That isn't entirely fair, TTT.  Whilst it would be rare to find any Muslim willing to criticise the prophet, it doesn't follow that all indulge in similar practices.

" Whilst it would be rare to find any Muslim willing to criticise the prophet, it doesn't follow that all indulge in similar practices.  " - no but they all give tacit approval.

Whilst they can't openly criticise, it doesn't follow that they approve, TTT.

Quick Tories, make poliical capital of this before it proves to be wrong.  The Desperados still sore at their record rejection.

P.S. Now you know how the Native Ameicans, the Maoris, the Zulus, and the Aborigines feel about our invasions. Karma.

Canary, what are you talking about?  None of that has anything to do with this topic.

You are a real tool sometime Canary.

TTT forgets than in England girls could get married at 12 until 1929.

Richard II married a six year old

The differences being a) We live in more enlightened times, and b) We brought advancements to other more primitive cultures whereas today's lot bring nothing so useful.

Question Author

So 14th century, we've move on a bit since then.

pre 1929, 12 was low but people live much shorter lives generally.

What we did 800 years ago is irrelevant, Barry - we've moved on - and paedophiles are attracted to pre-pubescent children, not 12 year olds.  That sort of justification detracts from the topic.

//Richard II married a six year old//

And that is an argument for their actions? 🤣🤣
