He is a dictator in as much as he's dictating to other countries what they can and cannot do or should and shouldn't do. Seeing as the definition is "A dictator is a political leader who possesses absolute power", I would think it's an apt description.

Good morning youngmafbog. I'd cite the following instances which don't seem to have been received very well with the American people, generally:

1. Pardoning and commuting the sentences of more than 1,500 people charged with crimes in the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, including people who attacked police officers

2. Issuing an executive order undermining the 14th Amendment to the Constitution that aims to end birthright citizenship for children born in the United States to parents who aren’t citizens or are temporary but lawful residents at the time of their birth. 

3. Issuing executive orders which seem to seek to dismantle diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the federal government including the repeal a longstanding executive order that addresses discrimination in federal contracting which Republicans and Democrats have both supported which courts have upheld. Pressurising various organisations to roll back diversity practices.

4. The creation of DoGE. It has taken a U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer to issue an order blocking Musk’s agency from accessing Treasury payments. 
 

These are just a few examples of many which could be seen to be incendiary and divisive for the American people.

chat, thank you for replying however i dont agree that the American populaion dont like what he is doing.  The Dems yes but then the Dems didnt care when they were implementing policies Republicans despised did they?  And where were you complaing those were devisive?

1, I will give you that although counter Biden started it with the 'pardons' to his son and familly.

2. Sounds a very reasonable thing to do, this has beenn used to get in via the back door.  

3. Dismantling DEI is a good thing, judging bybthe empires built and the fortunes soent on it not before time.

4.  DoGE is draining the swamp.  Vast amounts of money are being shown to be wasted.  This is exactly what is needed.

In short the Libbies dont like it as a) their ideology is being removed and b) for many the gravy train has stopped.
