The implication was that they were committed predominantly by perpetrators of one kind - that domination being completely out of proprtion to the incidence of that kind of person in the UK.
I don't understand why you consider discussing the matter is xenophobic. If a large number of similar crimes are committed by people of a similar background - especially when those people are in a considerable minority in the UK overall - it is legitimate to ask why this should be.
There is a strong hint here to me of reverse xenophobia, unless of course canary has also posted previously condemning grooming gang crimes by abusers across a range of ethicities.
Why not just post the story as it is and perhaps just point out that such crimes are committed by a range of ethnicities and social groups
There was a post aboit this about a week ago me old china, if the search in here wasn't so sheet I'd find it. Never mind there will be plenty of chances for you to defend your muslim buddies on the Sweden attrocity that the media are doing their best to try not to blame the obvious purps at the moment.
