It's happening all the time now.
'No tools are kept in this vehicle overnight' is now the norm.

I don't often use Facebook but I looked in yesterday and a local tool business had posted security camera photos of two thieves in the act. Their vehicle reg was easily read. Next to no help from the police.

I believe they do it because it's easy money with little risk.

Chop of their thieving hands.

The vehicle reg caught on camera was either a clone or the vehicle was stolen.

Possibly Barry. Very clear pictures of the two guys involved tho.

My SiL has had it happen a couple of times.  Last time nothing was in the van but extensive damage to the van.  He just drives old vans now, probal is it doesnt look so good to clients.

Dont expect 2TK to do anything, jails are only for the "far right" these days.

There was an article on the news last night. One or two of the blokes there were absolutely distraught. There was a report of one having committed suicide after losing tools worth £15k.

Then it cut to the local Sunday boot sale where one vendor had three trestle tables with power tools in all shapes and sizes laid out.

There is no will in this country to tackle (what the police call) “low level” crime. This is not low level. It causes enormous anguish, expense and inconvenience to the victims who work hard to earn a crust. Then thieving scum come along.

Agreed, the news article was shocking ...
