The police don't appear to care. 6 months ago a video was shared of a local youth scumbag pulling out a knife during a fight, he actually drew blood on the other kid.
Police visit him and, and, and, let me get this right ..
nothing
Absolutely nothing!
You can just go online & buy a machete or hunting knife to be delivered in post nxt day with no questions asked. Not about your age. Not your profession/hobby ie maybe fishing etc... and absolutely no limit to amounts either. So you could go online & order 20 machetes with as much ease as buying a loaf of bread. In fact a teenage boy did just that - not 20 machetes, but a vast selection of all different types of knives. The police just couldn't believe it when they searched his bedroom. He was only 14 or 15 I believe.
According to Pixie its all Amazons fault.
Online purchases are not the underlying issue(although I approve of stricter rules). Knives are in every drawer in every house, whats Pixie going to do next, ban cooking?
As with guns in the USA, and I have said this many many times, we need to find the underlying problem and stop distracting by blaming the tools.
