The Stockport murder trial begins today - those with something to hide no doubt regard Inauguration Day as a good day to bury bad news...

I've just googled and there appears to be nothing in terms of news coverage. Wow, wow and thrice WOW!

Didn't the lives of those children count for anything?

Southport, not Stockport might help you.

Question Author

My phone autocorrected it to Stockport for some bizarre reason.

So, do you think the whole truth will come out?

Could one of the Moderators edit the title to say Southport?

Question Author

Okay, thanks for letting me know.

Question Author

Thanks, jackthehat. That's quite a collection of charges for a nice, Welsh Choirboy.

Hes just pleaded guilty to murder

The two other high-profile cases due to start today have been delayed.

1st  April Anthony Esan

11th August Ricky Jones

No fast tracking for Labour councillor Ricky.

He has pleaded guilty now, so there will not be a trial.

Question Author

Do you think his hand was forced into pleading guilty?

I wonder if there will be a public enquiry into who knew what and when....or if that will be quietly shelved?

The awful shower that are running our country should start with why this information was sat on. Unless of course our police have actually got so bad that it did take them months to find the ricin and terrorist manual.

Nothing shocks me anymore.

"The two further offences relate to evidence obtained by Merseyside Police during searches of Axel Rudakubana’s home address, as part of the lengthy and complex investigation that followed the events of 29 July 2024.

The additional charges are:

Production of a biological toxin, namely ricin, contrary to Section 1 of the Biological Weapons Act 1974.

Possessing information, namely a pdf file entitled “Military Studies in the Jihad Against the Tyrants: The Al-Qaeda Training Manual” of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

Could one of the Moderators edit the title to say "Mimsy flower fest in the NOrth?

Having been mute alot of the time,  on the first day of the trial he spoke up and said " Guilty"

Judgie-baby had to go through the routine about whether he meant that

I suppose he banged his gavel and asked - what do we do now for the next three weeks?

I was juryman in another court when a Pole  had chopped up a 19 y rent boy. He pleaded guilty on the first day. The victim's sister had committed suicide. Parents were now childless. we all wept

Hey this is AB - time to take your pardners for the usual fango-dango !

Possessing information, namely a pdf file entitled" Flower aranging Japan 1930-45 " of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism,

from time to time

if you delete a file all that happens is that you rip off the pdf tag. they can search for phrases - a bit like DNA typing

so you need an erazer program - overprints every letter in the doc with a pseudorandom rumber ( god I am getting to technical arent I)

Production of a biological toxin, namely ricin, contrary to Section 1 of the Biological Weapons Act 1974.

blimey I wdnt like to be frizzy haired and do this in the kitchen - and I've worked in Porton Down - Production of ricin or TATP is NOT a cottage industry

Convieniently pleaded Guilty, so no trial and no information for the public to see.

They had better not have done a 'plea bargain' with him, this eveli piece of *** should swing.

Hmmmm.

Judges do not have gavels in this country.

Dont have the option of a rope either sadly.
