What do we think. Democracy in safe hands? Stable genius? Bear in mind this is the official portrait, not an AI generated spoof.

khandro

you are simply incorrect. this is not a matter of opinion. you have gotten yourself confused and appear to be digging your heels in. the thread would not be about what a portrait is if you hadn't blundered in and run off your silly old mouth about exactly that.

Keep it polite, untitled.

Ooooh!  Hell hath no fury like an old woman scorned.

The first line of the OP is, "Decoding Donald Trump's new official portrait"  which I'm afraid to tell you, it simply isn't.

KHANDRO, do you have links to the official portraits of the two most recent American Presidents?

Certainly different.  Trump has obviously learned a lot (whether for good or ill I am not qualified to say) and this portrait shows a man who has no doubts about what he intends to do  - and also has no doubts about his ability to work the system to achieve his aim.  Interesting.

Corby; //KHANDRO, do you have links to the official portraits of the two most recent American Presidents?//

There are technical problems for the delay; Trump 1 couldn't sit still & Biden kept falling asleep.

Why are you avoiding the question?

In that photo, Trump is pulling exactly the same expression that my 18 month old grand neice pulls when she's actively pooing into her nappy.

Snapped: President Elect peeps at brightly-lit bedroom window.
