Seems like the owner of the Mail, a previously pro-Johnson paper has realised that backing him is no longer a viable option and that he doesn’t reflect the views of the papers readers.

gromit: "TTT,
Elections to the Executive Board of the 1922 Committee this week. If Johnson’s enemies take over then a rule change about VONCs only once a year would mean another vote in the summer. " - yes they can change it but to what? No limit? just keep having them? They may go for 6 months rather than a year I suppose but the PM won pretty comfortably last time and if they do go for 6 months then the next one could be December and the PM would probably win that too.
'probably'
No, its a liberal elite bias.

But like you say the answer is simple. Dont use Google search engines.
I checked the Mail today ... not a peep. Then I looked at the links in the op. The New Euoropean. Mouthpiece and propaganda outlet for the USSR and all things anti Brexit and the slimeball Adam Bienkov(good old British name) blogger for Tory Troll, The Guardian, and The New Statesman. Haha. Everybody back on the bus.
Bet the OP googles. :o)
May threw in the towel when there were plans for a second VONC. 6 months after winning in December 2018.

// the PM won pretty comfortably //

He needed to win by 1 vote, and he won by 63.
But it wasn’t a convincing win, 148 of his own side voted against him.

// No, its a liberal elite bias. //
Googles product is search results. If the results are not what searchers are wanting, they will use a search engine that delivers the answers they want. But 92% of the world’s search is done on Google, and just 7% on Bing, so most people are happy with Google’s algorithms.
All my devices come with Google Search as the default search engine. I have changed it to something else.
Others should experiment too.
// Bet the OP googles. :o) //

Don’t you use Google naomi ? Most people do. I would expect 90+% of AB users Google.
Fun fact:

Google pay Apple $12Billion per year to make their search engine the default on the Apple iPhone.

So basically, are the usual Johnson fanboys and girls denying that the paper has changed its views on him and his government and is now critical of the PM?
//Don’t you use Google naomi ?//

Constantly, gromit.
If the discontents achieved a win by 63 for Boris last time why would that majority be reduced next time ? If anything protest votes last time may well have made the desired point and in a future vote revert to supporting the leader. It's not like there's an obvious decent replacement waiting yet. If Frosty managed to get elected then maybe, but from the present possibilities, any reasonable alternative who are in a position to throw their hat into the ring have made in clear that they aren't interested.

For Naomi. Found on Bing.

Doesn’t really matter which search engine you use, they’re all broadly the same.
Anyone care to deny the claims made in the link?
Given the recent front pages, has the paper changed its loyalty to Johnson, yes or no?
Like the media have any real persuasion over MPs. At most they give ammunition for those who are already decided.
FatticusInch, you're having another little whoosh moment. See Togo's post at 10:22 Mon. Google digs deep. :o)

Old Geezer,
Given that Johnson has no redeeming features, is untrustworthy and hugely unpopular with his own MP’s and Party I’m sure that he isn’t going to be a hard act to follow.
Anyone with an ounce of credibility, morality and common decency could replace him and be perceived to be instantly better.
One stepped forward 6 months ago.

Tell me the qualities that Johnson has in contrast to and would outweigh Tugendhat?
Question Author
Naomi, you’re not answering the questions…..as usual.
Have a go, they’re easy enough even for you to have a stab at them.
Yeah foo - pity the threat is from one Rich Man
and not the man in the street in Titchfield

will he listen to the one who writes the copy ( = editor to you thick proles) rather than the electors?

or no one ( sozza dont mean to be delphic)
What question do you want me to answer, FatticusInch?

Tom Tugendhat? Really? A remainer who voted for traitor Theresa May's wonky 'deal'. I don't think so.
// Bet the OP googles. :o) //
recycled jibe from me - I bet he googles all his Greek quotes
I dont

and as a one liner which went down well that time( er on AB that is) who can blame the lady for having another go ?
